Youth Steering Committee- Teens wanted!

The Youth Steering Committee provides a fun and safe space for LGBTQIA teens, ages 14-18, to volunteer their time. These volunteering hours can be used for both high school and college credit. The committee provides opportunities for leadership, community organization, peer education, creativity and event planning.

We are currently working on setting up a PRIDE Prom for our LGBTQIA teens, as well as doing community outreach at the Seeds of Healing AIDS walk. The walk will be held at Greenfield Lake Park on March 28th at 10am.

We welcome LGBTQIA teens and their allies to join us. The meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday at 4pm at the Frank Harr Foundation office (inside the Ormond Center at 1624 Princess Street). If interested, please contact  Judy Corcoran at 512-906-6465 or email us at info@frankharrfoundation.org for more information. We look forward to working with you!
