During the holiday season, it can be difficult being around family–or not being around one’s family–due to orientation or identity. As we all know, life is hard on many different levels for members of the LGBTQIA community, but we have the opportunity to help our community and the less fortunate. The Frank Harr Foundation has partnered with Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard for a canned food/hygiene products drive. From now until Dec. 13th, drop off whatever non-perishables and/or hygiene products you would like to donate to The Frank Harr Foundation offices. We have a collection barrel in the lobby. They will be delivered to Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard on Dec. 14th. If you haven’t had an opportunity to go by Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, stop by to see this essential operation and possibly volunteer some of your time to helping others in need in our community. Check out their website here.
